Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for April 2016.
In April 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its customer offering and strengthen its network with the following announcements:
- The establishment of a new base in Sibiu, Romania, Wizz Air’s 25th base and seventh in the country.
- Expanding its network to 123 airports with services to/from two new stations in Suceava in Romania and Olsztyn-Mazury in Poland.
- The launch of 13 new routes to/from Romania (x6), Poland (x4), Hungary (x2), and Serbia (x1).
