Wizz Air, the largest low-cost, low-fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced new benefits and features for the WIZZ Discount Club.
From 14th of October 2014, in addition to guaranteed discounts on airfares, passengers can also save on baggage fees on all bookings made during the one-year WIZZ Discount Club membership period. Two new types of membership schemes were also introduced: A WIZZ Discount Club Standard Membership, which allows Club members and one companion to enjoy the Club’s discounts on airfare and baggage fees, and a WIZZ Discount Club Group Membership, which extends these benefits to a larger group of family and friends traveling with the Club member.
Wizz Air’s Daniel de Carvalho said: “We are delighted today to announce major enhancements to our WIZZ Discount Club. With over half a million members, the Club has proven successful amongst those who look for guaranteed savings every time they travel on WIZZ’s low fares. Guaranteed savings of €10 on airfare and €5 on checked baggage make the Club even more attractive and rewards our customer’s loyalty by allowing these savings every time they book WIZZ flights during their one-year Club membership. While the Standard Membership for €29.99 offers these savings for up to two passengers on the same booking, groups of up to 6 passengers or families will achieve the biggest savings by choosing the Group Membership for €49.99. Both memberships are now on sale at wizzair.com.”
Existing WIZZ Discount Club members can switch to one of the new membership options during any future booking or stay with the original club features until the expiry of the membership.
