Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, launched a partnership programme with Raiffeisen Polbank, the leading commercial bank in Poland, offering a credit and debit card service to customers, making shopping and flying a more pleasant experience.
The partnership will allow Wizz Air customers to avail of discounted fares through a loyalty scheme programme linked to the new credit card. Each transaction completed with the Wizz Air MasterCard will add points to the customer’s WIZZ Account.
Every PLN 5 spent with Wizz Air MasterCard credit card adds one loyalty point to the client’s WIZZ Account while every 10 points can be converted to PLN 1 to spend on the WIZZ Account on any flight or service offered by Wizz Air. Additional points can also be collected during transactions made on wizzair.com (PLN 5 = 2 points). Credit card holders also obtain free membership to the Wizz Discount Club, which normally costs PLN 139, and 500 loyalty points (equivalent of PLN 50) for the first transaction performed within 6 months after obtaining the card. Applications for the Wizz Air MasterCard can be completed online, at one of Raiffeisen Polbank’s 340 high street counters or over the phone by contacting the call centre. Card holders will bear no service fee in the first year (regular fee is PLN 79).
Raiffeisen Polbank and Wizz Air also announced additional benefits for holders of the debit card, MasterCard Debit Wizz Air, attached to any of the bank’s checking accounts. A 12-month, free-of-charge, Wizz Discount Club membership is available and as a Club member, customers will be able to benefit from numerous promotions and lower Wizz Air fares.
The partnership is great news for all Wizz Air customers, especially following the recent announcement of new routes from Warsaw, Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan and Lublin. The points collected when shopping with Wizz Air MasterCard can lower the price of airfares to any of Wizz Air’s popular destinations.
