Wizz Air, the largest low-cost, low-fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has today successfully switched all Christmas flights from Modlin Airport to Warsaw Chopin Airport after weeks of continued weather disruption at Modlin Airport. The vast majority of passengers on the early morning flights to Barcelona, London Luton and Paris Beauvais arrived directly at Chopin airport for departure. Just 32 passengers, which went to Modlin airport by mistake, were transferred by bus to Chopin to check in for their flights. The airline thanked all staff at Modlin and Chopin airports for their help in avoiding travel disruption and passenger inconvenience during the Christmas period. Wizz Air reminds passengers that all Modlin flights will operate at Warsaw Chopin Airport until midnight 8th January. Updated information can be found on wizzair.com.
