Wizz Air, the largest low fare – low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would further expand its operations from Poland and launch two new routes; from Warsaw to Madrid and from Gdansk to Barcelona.
The flights will start on 24 April and initially operate 2 times a week, with fares starting from as low as EUR 42.49 (one way, all inclusive).
The two new routes will replace current flights to Gothenburg (from Gdansk) and Memmingen (from Katowice).
“By making this change in our network, we are reflecting the real needs of our passengers. The numerous feedbacks that we got from the public as well as from the trade indicated that Spain is an increasingly popular market and we believe that now is the right time to act.” - said György Abrán, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air.
